We ensure all porters, cooks and local staff receive fair, above-market wages. Ethical employment is not optional — it is the foundation of everything we do.

🏔️

Expert Local Guides

Our guides are from the region and have spent years mastering the trails, understanding the weather patterns, and building the safety protocols that keep every trekker secure.

🌱

Community Support

2% of every booking goes directly to local education initiatives, supporting the children of the communities that make our adventures possible.

♻️

Responsible Tourism

Leave-no-trace principles are mandatory on all our trips. We train our teams in sustainable practices and work to preserve the pristine environments we explore.

🛡️

Safety First

From acclimatisation schedules to emergency evacuation plans, every itinerary is designed with meticulous attention to the safety and wellbeing of every participant.

🌍

Authentic Experiences

We go beyond the tourist trail — connecting trekkers with local families, traditions, food and stories that most visitors never encounter.

GIVING BACK
TO THE MOUNTAINS

The communities of Gilgit-Baltistan are the reason our adventures are possible. Their hospitality, knowledge and labour make every expedition succeed — and we believe they deserve to share in the rewards of tourism.

That is why we commit 2% of every booking directly to local education programmes, ensuring children in remote mountain communities have access to quality schooling and the opportunities that come with it.

We also partner exclusively with local guides, porters, guesthouses and suppliers — keeping as much of the economic benefit in the region as possible.

FAQs

Yes — K2 Base Camp is a challenging high-altitude trek that requires good physical fitness and prior trekking experience at altitude. We recommend completing at least one multi-day trek at 3,000m+ before attempting this route. We can advise you on preparation and fitness training.
What is the best time of year to trek in Pakistan?
The prime trekking season in Pakistan's Karakoram is June to September. July and August offer the most stable weather for high-altitude routes like K2 Base Camp and Gondogoro La. Spring (April–May) is ideal for cultural and valley tours like the Skardu Blossom Tour.
Do you arrange visas and permits?
We handle all trekking permits, National Park entry fees and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) required for restricted zones. For visas, Pakistan offers eVisa on arrival for many nationalities — we provide a full visa guide and can advise on your application.
Is travel insurance required?
Comprehensive travel insurance including high-altitude helicopter evacuation cover is mandatory for all our treks above 4,000m. This is non-negotiable for your safety and must be in place before departure. We can recommend suitable providers.
How do I get to the starting point of the trek?
Most treks begin from Skardu or Islamabad. We arrange all airport transfers, domestic flights (Islamabad–Skardu) and jeep transport as part of our itineraries. International guests fly into Islamabad (ISB) or Lahore (LHE) and we handle everything from there.
Can you create a custom itinerary for my group?
Absolutely. We build bespoke itineraries for private groups, photography expeditions, family tours, corporate retreats and more. Contact us with your dates, group size and interests and we will design the perfect trip for you.
